Charlotte studied photography at Richmond College then went on to a degree at Nottingham Trent from where she graduated in 2004.
Photography has given Charlotte a good excuse to travel all over the world. She has made several activist documentaries in Palestine. Her short film Scratching The Surface, Showing life under constant bombardment in a refugee camp in Betlehem, was showcased at the ICA in London.
She was a short listed Guardian student photographer of the year while at university and her photography has been exhibited in galleries around the world as part of reGeneration:50 Photographers of Tomorrow.
Her project Gypsy Gold was published by oodee as part of the POV Female box set. 5 female photographers from London were chosen. Oodee went on to publish a box set of photographers from 5 different countries around the world.
Charlotte currently spends her time between the UK and Guinea Conakry, retouching, filming and photographing.
